Leaders Of Communism by D3form3D Leaders Of Communism by D3form3D
I made this out of different pictures I found. I made only a 1024x768 version for now.

You may not recognize the man on the right, he is Josip Broz Tito, a former Yugoslavian president. I put him on this picture because he was the first Communist leader who defied Stalin's leadership.

Yes, Lenin is a different color for a reason.

The men on this wallpaper are the few, who I think made some progress in Communism. Theoretical Communism is ideal, sadly only theoretical. There will always be a situation, where one man will have more than the other.

Enjoy, but don't idealise.

Isn't it interesting how communism is quite literally the only thing in existence that people say works in theory but not in practice?

This is so true. I'm a socialist, & it makes my blood boil to think of how Stalin (among others) ruined communism for the rest of the world. At least there were good men like these, who knew what true communism was.

I respectfully disagree. A good leader perhaps, but not in my opinion an ideal Communist.

I have to wonder, though, how Stalin wasn't a model communist, having presided over the the first implementation of a socialist mode of production in history.

I say he wasn't a "model" Communist. Doesn't mean he wasn't a Communist. Just as you have Republican and model Republicans. From my own point of view he wasn't what Karl Marx would have had in mind when envisioning an ideal Communist leader. But, who knows? Maybe his opinion would be of a different tune.

I doubt Marx had any particular "leader" in mind, if by "leader" you mean premier and general secretary. Frankly, I don't care what Marx's personal intent was, and I wouldn't care about Engels's personal intent, Lenin's, or even Stalin's. What I care about is the implementation of socialism according to what can be determined through the dialectical-material method of analyzing history and class.

Should've put Marx in there. For those that don't know, he is the creator of communism and one of the greatest minds to have ever lived.

I would agree with your decision not to put Marx up with the rest of them, but for different reasons- If you're a Marx purist, you could also argue that there has never really been a Marxist revolution due to the fact that none of the countries in which there was a successful Communist revolution possessed a fully-developed system of industrial capitalism. Marx largely envisioned the workers' revolution to overthrow the governments of the traditional western colonial powers, such as France, England, the US, and his native Germany (there were two failed attempts there, though- the 1918-1919 revolution, and the attempt to create the People's Republic of Bavaria).

I doubt your fellow revolutionaries would approve you due to your straw-man beliefs.

For example, I noticed you faved this sc1r0n.deviantart.com/art/The-… as proof of your religious beliefs, while Karl Marx, the creator of communism, stated that "Religion is opium for people, thus it should be eradicated."

I would ask how can you combine theism and anti-theism, because this makes you sound either like hypocrite, or like a person who has no idea what is he talking about.

Wait, what did I write? Wow, 2008! I stopped being a communist long time ago :XD: Wasn't even serious revolutionary back then.

What religious beliefs? I faved that because it makes fun of religion. Or did I miss something about artist intentions? And I know what he said in full: "Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people."

I just said I stopped long time ago being a communist (if I ever was one) and if I need to say it plainly, I am anti-theist without communisam requeired, so I like anything that mocks religion (like that one bible thing I faved).
Why does that makes me a hypocrite?

Also here comments.deviantart.com/1/6277…, where you claim that "nothing is wrong with being anti-communist, just seems shame to waste so much time fighting it on the internet. "

This means as much as you claim being anti-communist is wrong and not wrong at the same time - pure hypocrisy from your side.

Your double standard: when you laugh at others, it is okay, but when others laugh at you, this is not okay. Such as below this comics drawn against me comments.deviantart.com/1/1648… - myself I find it amusing, though I doubt you would laugh if someone drew similar comics about people from your nation.

Oh no, it is ok to make fun of me, but about stuff I really did.
Way you said I was religious, that made "lol, wtf did I do wrong? says right in my favourite books - 'god is not great ' ".

I would laugh my balls off for some anti-serbian humor. As for bad humor, like I give a fuck.
You really that hurt over bad joke made by nazi?

Great work.... but I think we have to enjoy and idealise.... because without ideal and ideologys the only thing left is the terror doctrine... and thats what the world is now... terror and no idealogy.
But thats only my point of view and of course you can think its nonesense...

i like your work.. and i agree, communism is great in theory but it just can't work in reality. i think comunism is best described in orwell's "animal farm". at the beginning "all animals were equal", but in the end "some animals were more equal then the others." btw, i come from croatia, a country formerly part of yugoslavia, so i know all about tito

this is a great picture! and i applaud you for including Josip Broz Tito, out of all the "communist" and "socialist" leaders, he was one of the very few to make the system work, and that in a highly unstable piece of the world. My family has lived under his rule and we all respect and love him, as does practically everyone we know. For all the people out there who are saying negative things about him, do some reasearch, but try to use multiple sources, i found out that you really need to read all the sides of the story to understand the man because he is a character that you either love or hate, and that is reflected in the works on him.
